The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo

The Q Revo is an excellent choice if you're looking for a robotic vacuum and mop that's priced in the middle. It provides a fantastic mopping experience, but doesn't have the advanced features of its more expensive counterpart.

In the course of testing, it was able to tackle dust and dry oats on carpets of medium pile as well as pet hair on hard floors. It doesn't use LIDAR however, like cheaper models do to locate your home.

1. IRobot Roomba S9+

The iRobot Roomba S9+ is one of the top-rated robot vacuums. It comes with a variety of features and incredible cleaning power, including a dirt compartment that is built into the base of charging. The robot will learn your habits of cleaning, and suggest automatic schedules to give you an effortless cleaning experience.

It's easy to set up thanks to the iRobot Home app that walks you through the process. Once the system is in place, you can start automated cleaning with a single button click. You can choose an overall clean that emphasizes getting rid of larger pieces of debris such as rice and cereal, or opt for two thorough mappings of your area to ensure that your home is properly arranged.

This vacuum mop robot works well on both floors with no carpet and carpets with a low pile. It is able to pick up pet hair and also suck large objects up. It doesn't lose suction as fast as some other robot vacuums. It has a difficult time with plush or high-pile carpet, however iRobot says it will get better with the next models.

The S9+ features a new design from iRobot that concentrates on enhancing corner and edge cleaning. It's the first Roomba to adopt an open-fronted, flat-fronted design, which it hopes will allow it to be able to swaddle walls and furniture. It's a great improvement over the traditional hockey puck shape of the majority of robovacs. However, we found it to be incrementally better than circular models.

iRobot also claims that the S9+ has an improved filter system that prevents tiny dust particles and allergens from recirculating throughout your home. We think it's a nice statement however, it's not enough to justify a premium price.

Its intelligent navigation system makes use of sensors to store the arrangement of your home and vSLAM for mapping the interior. This allows it to stay clear of obstacles, like stairs and other barriers, and to tidy up your whole home in the most efficient manner possible. The iRobot Home App allows you to schedule cleaning times and create virtual boundary markers so that the robot knows the areas that require attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

Roborock Q Revo is a robot that combines vacuuming and mopping. Its vacuum settings are just as good as those on more expensive models. The mopping system is superior because its spinning pads scrub floors better than an ordinary pad that vibrates.

The only downside is that it lacks an additional rubber brush to allow for more thorough cleaning, but it's an affordable price to pay if you want one of the best inexpensive robot vacuum robots available. The robo-vac's dust tank also bigger than those on many of its competitors and vacuum mop cleaner robot takes only two or three cycles to fill it, even at the highest dirt level.

In terms of the mopping device, I was awestruck by its ability to scrub off the tough dirt off my floors. The two mopping settings that it has that are less powerful than the high-powered settings, produce minimal noise, meaning you can work or watch television without being distracted. If it comes into contact with an object, such as a wall or furniture piece, it gently bumps into it and moves on.

The Q Revo is unique in that it can run almost autonomously, with little user involvement. The dock of the robo-vac can be multi-functional and can automatically transfer trash into a hidden bin. It also cleans and dries the clean water tank. The app will only alert you when something is not right, such as low water levels or a canceled vacuuming session due to an empty bin.

You can also create or combine actual rooms to alter the way Q Revo manages your home. This is an excellent feature to have if you have several areas of the home with different floor materials or if there's a lot of clutter that must be cleaned out frequently, like clothes, toys and books. The robot vacuum is also efficient and was one of the top performers in my tests, removing debris from carpets as well as hardwoods in its first run. It is able to vacuum up wet spills. I recommend drying the area with a towel prior to sending it in.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni has all of the features you'd want from a premium robot vacuum and mop combo and more. Similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+, it has an excellent vacuum with a powerful suction that cleans hard and carpet floors, and a rotating mop that scrubs tough stains. It also has a self-cleaning base station that automatically empty and cleans mop pads, keeping them free of germs and ready to use again. It also has a sensor system that detects obstacles more accurately, allowing it to avoid falling on furniture and other objects.

The biggest improvement over the ECOVACS Deebot X1 is that this version is sleeker and more modern design thanks to Danish firm Jacob Jensen Design (best Combo Vacuum known for its Bang & Olufsen products). The robot is still quite large. It has a height of more than two feet height and depth and weighs in at least four pounds. However the robot as well as its base are smaller than the Roborock Q Revo and iRobot j7.

This version is more efficient than the X1 since it charges faster and can clean 1,500 square feet in one charge. It also has a bigger and more robust dustbin that can store more debris. This makes it easier to empty.

Additionally, the X2 Omni has a more user-friendly app and an assistant voice that works offline, which means you can manage it even when not home. It also has additional mopping modes as well as a smart routing feature which allows it to clean specific rooms or areas of your house instead of just following a set route.

The Omni Omni has the best mopping performance of any robot we've tested, thanks to its mop pads that rotate to scrub away tough stains and a motor that generates plenty of downward pressure. Its vacuuming performance is outstanding as well and it increases suction when it detects carpet to ensure it's doing a thorough job. It also has a large battery that can last for several weeks between charges and its mopping mode is as powerful as any we've seen in a consumer-grade robot.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a premium model that comes with a variety of features that aren't often found on robots of this price. It can make precise floor maps and recognize various flooring types. It's also one of the few robots that can automatically clean and dry its mop pad. But while these functions are useful, they also push the L10s Ultra into the category of luxury which could make it a little more expensive than the average homeowner require.

The L10s Ultra looks like a modern floor cleaning machine. It's tall and slim with a white finish that is complemented by silver elements and mirror plating. The front of the machine has an enormous bumper that shields the furniture and vacuum cleaner as you move around your home. In the pane in the front is additional navigation technology that is comprised of sensors that help the L10s Ultra navigate around tight corners and avoid obstacles.

On the top of the vacuum there is a single button that serves as an on/off switch. This button will activate the vacuum. If you click it again, it will turn it off and transmit it back to its base station. The central control panel is an oblique menu that lets you choose cleaning modes, schedules, and preferences. The left and right buttons will allow you to access the settings in the app, where you can alter the way the L10s Ultra interacts with your home.

Similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+ and Roborock Q Revo, the L10s Ultra uses a combination of LIDAR and camera-based navigation techniques to help you map out your home. This allows the robot to mop and vacuum efficiently without getting stuck. The LIDAR helps the robot vacuum avoid obstacles and identify them, which is an excellent feature for homes with pets or children.

The L10s Ultra offers solid vacuuming performance which clears 98.4% of debris from our hard-floor test and getting rid of all but the most stubborn juice stain. Its mops also do a great job in removing 98.4% debris from our carpet, tile, and wood tests. However, it wasn't as effective in removing sand from the floor or the quaker oats that are on carpet.
