Concealed Weapon Slot

The concealed weapon slot is a specific slot that allows you to bring pistols in to an operation. Some people use it to help them attain certain goals, particularly those who aim for Suit Only. The items that are smuggled are different from Agency Pickups and Hidden Stashes that conceal small items within the scenery or objects directly.

Mission planning is a feature available in episodic missions that lets players unlock different starting locations, smuggled items and gear slots ahead of their entry into the map. As players progress through challenges and unlock new Mission Mastery levels, these options for planning increase. This allows players to create the perfect mission for each difficulty.

Gear Slot

The slots for gear will quickly fill up early in the game, leading to the common message "Your Gear Slots are Full". This message prevents Max to pick new equipment until the old items are removed or a larger space has been accumulated. Hogwarts Legacy Merlin Trials are the solution to this problem. They provide more inventory space to complete challenges missions. However, since the majority of these challenges are scattered across the world and can be overlooked, it may take some time to get the maximum number of inventory slots that are available in the game.

A player's five Gear Slots can be filled with up to 5 different gear types, which must be selected in the Gear Selection menu before a Break-In can begin. Each gear item (except the Pistol) will take up one Gear Slot while a set of similar items (like a group of Grenades that are of the same type) only has one Gear Slot.
