Double Glazing Window Repair

Over time, double glazing can develop issues. For example, it may be difficult to open the windows or have a door that snags. Fortunately, these problems can be solved with ease.

Many homeowners will attempt to solve these issues on their own, however, this should be left to the experts. It is dangerous to attempt to fix these issues without the right tools and understanding.

Broken Panes

A window that is damaged is a nagging and uncomfortable issue. It could let cold or hot air into your home, and leave a gap which allows dirt or moisture to get in. This can affect the efficiency of your AC or furnace will have to work harder in order to keep your home warm. However, it can be an indication that the seal is not working and water is leaking through the gaps between the window panes. You might notice a milky look on the window or beads appearing on its surface. This will need to be dealt with to prevent the growth of mold, mildew, or other damage.
